This month Senior Infants have enjoyed our Aistear topic of Outer Space - we have had role in our space station, wonderful Lego rocket creations and we made our own playdough. To celebrate Science Week we explored rainbows by 'growing a rainbow' using kitchen towel, markers and water. We made a rainbow in a jar with liquids of different densities and food colouring and we saw wonderful colour patterns using skittles and water. These experiments were really fun to do.
We also had a visit from a member of An Garda Síochána who told us about his job as a Garda and answered lots of interesting questions from the children.
