4th Class Hard at Work, Hungry for Knowledge!

4th Class Elm and Larch have had a busy few weeks! In between working hard on their Drumcondra tests, they've learned all about Ancient and Modern Egypt. They really got into the Ancient Egyptians' mindsets by playing the ancient boardgame, 'Mehen,' and mummifying each other, and they're working hard writing their Modern Egypt reports.

Elm Class's has been using trial and error and a lot of papier mâché to make animal sculptures in art. They're a work in progress but we can't wait to see how they all turn out!

Meanwhile, Larch Class have shown off their acting skills by rehearsing and filming poems. They've been creative in their costuming and even got to film in front of a greenscreen!

Both classes were sad to see Cyntia, our student teacher, leave but they had great fun on the treasure hunt she set up on her last day!
