Team Hope Christmas Shoeboxes
Every year St Patrick's participates in the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal. It is one of our most well supported charity initiatives of the year. Our children the better part of their mid-term break buying small gifts, packing them into shoeboxes, wrapping them in bright Christmas paper and bring them into school to be collected by our local co-ordinator. The boxes are then checked and boxed to be sent to children abroad by the Irish Team Hope team.

In 2019, 270 488 boxes were sent to Romania, eastern Croatia, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia and, in Africa, to Burundi, Rwanda, Congo, Lesotho and Swaziland.

Thank you to all the children , parents, teachers and co-ordinators who make it possible for us at St Patrick's to join in and contribute to this worthy cause!
Shoebox Appeal 2020
The Christmas Shoebox Appeal has moved online this year so get involved now. This year more than ever they need your help #EveryBoxCounts.

This year the #ChristmasShoeboxAppeal is going to be run differently. Due to the effects of Covid-19 restrictions, it is not possible to send gift-filled shoeboxes from Ireland, so they’re asking schools, families, friends, communities and businesses to #TeamUpForTeamHope by donating gift-filled shoeboxes online.

These donations will allow the Team Hope network of local partners in Africa and Eastern Europe to purchase items for shoeboxes, which will then be delivered straight into the hands of children affected by poverty. Often these shoeboxes are the only gift that a child will receive at Christmas and the joy that they deliver is incredible.
