We look forward to meeting you at our annual series of class-based information meetings held at the beginning of each new academic year. This year, we plan to change the format somewhat, so COME ALONG or you may miss something important!
These meetings provide an opportunity for you to visit your child’s classroom and to meet your child’s Class Teacher, who will address class-based matters that are aimed to help you as you support your child, as well as Additional Education Needs (AEN) Support team members. Representatives of the PTA will update you on works done during the summer holidays on numerous projects that you have supported through the PTA last year, including Early Childhood Education, Library, ICT, Music, Drama, Sports, and Playground Development. Also, some important opportunities for many classes will be discussed, and decisions made, and you may like to have an input, so we urge parents of all children to ensure that their child is represented at each meeting. It is also an opportunity for you to raise general school queries with me, and I look forward to getting your valued feedback.
Each meeting is limited to one hour, so please let us know in advance of specific issues that you wish to raise so that we can ensure time allocation for the topic or arrange a private meeting, if more appropriate. All meetings are informal, and it is hoped that you will find them informative and helpful. Parents who cannot attend are asked to liaise with a fellow parent from the class for feedback on topics covered.
