STPNS Community Recipe Book

No matter where in the world you are from, it is the daily rituals of food that bind and connect us.

As part of our Christmas fundraising efforts we will be publishing a STPNS Community Recipe book and we're looking for recipes from home cooks like yourself!

This book will feature recipes we learned to cook during the old days of Covid Lockdowns (anyone remember those?). Recipe authors will include STPNS students, teachers and St Patrick’s Greystones Parishioners. We want to showcase all our skills and ideas, and every child in the school is given the unique chance to publish their own favourite recipe.

Recipes can range from the traditional to uniquely modern interpretations. We are looking for recipes that are heirloom recipes passed down from mothers and grandmothers, as well as other old family favourites, and who doesn't like a much-loved comfort food variation.

We are asking all children to submit their favourite recipe to cook or bake. Once we have compiled all your delicious recipes, we will be publishing the recipe book and it will be on sale just in time to give as Xmas gifts to friends & family.

Pre-ordering will begin later this month, so keep an eye on our
website for more updates!*

To submit your recipe follow these 4 easy steps:

1. Select your recipe

2. Type it into a word document or the body of an email (please include your child's name, grade and the name of the recipe.)

3. Take a photo of the finished product** and attach it to the email (do not add it to a word doc)

4. Email your recipe and photo to stprecipebook@gmail.com

*Payment will be made through the school’s secure Stripe Payments System, with all proceeds going directly to the PTA for the benefit of all our children.

** We hope to publish all photo submissions, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee it due to space and photo quality restraints from the designer/printer.
