This 3rd class pupil is taking a break from "book-work" and working with these Torsty Blocks. Not only are they for creative play, but they also assist stimulate colour and shape recognition, assist problem solving and sequencing as well as hand-eye co-ordination. So while the child thinks he is just playing with blocks, he is actually promoting his developmental skills at the same time.
